My Claudia Tessier Surgical Word Book says Beeth needle, and ASR says Beath.  Any suggestions?

I am doing an orthopedic account and my QA person told me months ago that it was Beath so that is what I have been using.
My Stedman Medical & Surgical Equipment Words has both Beeth and Beath, but I have received it back
