I'm doing a Review of Records list, and it says Request for AX to refer PT to a "Psych." I was thinking it meant access, but I don't know if that would make sense. Anybody know what AX stands for in this example? Thanks!

P.S. If it's obvious, bear with me, I'm a newbie still. LOL

All four patients initially underwent surgical excisions of the pilonidal cyst followed by primary closure of the wound and application of a penrose drain. Pre-operative antibiotic treatment followed by a 10-day post-operative antibiotic course was used. Intra-operative identification of the sinus tract was made using a lacrimal probe and methylene blue injection of the sinus tract opening. Closure of the wound was accomplished with a subcutaneous 3-0 vicryl suture followed by a subcuticular 4-0 vicryl reinforced with 3-0 nylon interrupted suture. All procedures were done as same-day surgery. The drain had been pulled on initial follow-up within seven days on all the patients.

Not sure if those "xxx"  are actually part of your autocorrect format, or just "for display" only.  If I misspell a word even once, I stop right there and fix it.  Anyone else?  Any other tips?

I doubt you could get all that with one keystroke.  I don't have anything with just one key stroke.  You could, however, try something like endx that is 4 strokes, but the whole thing would pop out.  Here is what I do cad = CAD, cadx = coronary artery disease, and so on.

I am short on time to do a thorough search here.

What I need are links to cancer terminology.  Does any onc specialist have a favorite site you could post for me?  Mostly looking for drugs and combination therapies, their abbreviations.

Thank you VERY MUCH in advance if you could help me out.

I changed computers since doing specialized cancer and lost my links.

Got to have at least a whole sentence or you would be getting guesses at best. Try to include as much a scenario as you can in your questions. Key is to be accurate, no guesstimations allowed!! At least in MHO (my humble opinion).
