Subject: CHANGES

Don't change the ones you have.  Just one by one while you type for a while add an extra one with the one space.  One space is WRONG and I know the client is RIGHT if that is what they want and you want the client.  Just expand the ones you have, take away one space and rename it - add an extra letter to the end or the beginning to make it constant, but I would add it to the end so they all still line up in the glossry.  Then, if you are typing normal stuff you won't have issues.  You do know they are doing this to save characters.  I would not want to be their patient -  if they nickel and dime about this spacing (compromising on quality) what else do they compromise on in the patient care area?  An easily readable report is good patient care.  Two spaces is the proper way.  Amen.
