Conjunctival concretions, or lithiasis, are seen as small, white to yellow nodules superficially buried within and beneath the palpebral conjunctiva. They may occur in either the upper or lower lid; when inferior, they often appear adjacent to or underlying fluid-filled conjunctival cysts.

Prostatic concretions are calcified aggregates of the prostate gland which has "tree ring" like appearance; found especially in older men.

A 5-0 silk traction suture was placed through the central margin of the left upper eyelid and the eyelid was everted.  A mass involving the conjunctival entarsis was excised from the conjunctival surface of the left upper eyelid.   
If it is cataract surgery, usually the conjunctival flap is reflected back?
