------sinusoid means resembling a sinus. There is also sinusoidal capillary. See below.

Sinusoidal capillary; a thin-walled terminal blood vessel having an irregular and larger caliber than an ordinary capillary; its endothelial cells have large gaps and the basal lamina is either discontinuous or absent.

Syn: sinusoidal capillary.

I don't really have any suggestions for your missing words, but I do have a few general suggestions.

Are the terms in parenthesis the ones you don't know?  If they are, put s/l in front of it (s/l= sounds like), and then do your best to type what you are hearing phonetically.  Sometimes it also helps people figure out the missing words if you can share as much about the physical condition of the patient that you know.

Good luck with your training!

It was really unclear.

It may have been trapezius, but I looked at it from every angle I could, thinking he may have been saying TM - for teres minor --

So I finally gave up and did the safe thing...QA!

Thanks.

I think that is what he means but is clearly spelling with a P. Guess this is one for QA. Too bad for me that he mentions it several times in the report.

""The superficial femoral artery was then dissected free with the dissection preceding more proximally, exposing the profunda and the common femoral artery with dissecting it using sharp dissection to completely expose it so that an umbilical tape could be passed around the SFA.""

Here's the way I would do this:

""The superficial femoral artery was then dissected free with the dissection proceeding more proximally, exposing the profunda and the common femoral artery, dissecting it using sharp dissection to completely expose it so that an umbilical tape could be passed around the SFA.""

** I took out the word ""with"" because it sounds awkward and the word ""preceding"" I believe should be ""proceeding"", and then with the 2 commas.

I hope this helps!
