I can find Krakow and Krackow used interchangeably on a few legitimate sites, even spelled both ways on the same sites (!), but ultimately, wheelessonline uses Krackow, and I trust them most. It does seem to be orthopaedic-related, though!

I was just thinking that about the only time I use 1/2 rather than .5 is in the case of ages, and dosages, as in "1/2 tablet twice a day". Lots of scales are digital nowadays, so poundage gets the .5 from me!

I don't know if that's right, but it sure seems natural to me, and I've never been dinged for it.

I have found that since I have been working on-line, that the resources are endless.  Sometimes if you can break the phrase up, that helps a lot!  Again, KUDOS to you all!  It is so worth it to post here , if you know what I mean!

love the *colon fetish* thing. I have a doc that would have me putting commas after every other word. I ignore them, but just because he says them bothers me. I have no verbatim accounts either and I think it would drive me bananas if I did! But then, I may get more lines if I put in everything the doc says and the way he says it... lol. I hope you get the proper response from your QA! Have a good rest of the weekend...lobstering! (just kidding).

You might find assurance in the fact that (according to QuickLook) Lortab is only available with 500 along with the 5, so the 500 might be understood.  But, I would flag if you are unsure.

Mine still reads as I quoted above, and I see no questions and answers, only examples. Still says follow-up is an acceptable alternative. Also, account preference trumps BOS, and I have accounts for which the expectation is follow-up.

height

Express with numerals, as indicated below.

Write out nonmetric units of measure; do not use the symbols " and ' for inches
and feet.

Note: There is no comma between units of the same dimension, so there is no
comma after feet in the following example:

Height: 5 feet 8 inches.
BOS Page 324 says...
Subject: BOS Page 324 says...

plus/minus:
Express as plus or minus or plus/minus, not +/- or + except in tables or test results.

Hope that helps!

We would have to obtain new x-rays and obtain from St. Vincent's Charity Hospital his s/l sticker page? to find out exactly what this is.

I found one reference that would support this, but I just wanted to check to see if anyone knew for sure before I sent the report.

stats page ?
Subject: stats page ?

Maybe I'm senile or something, but until the new PP began, I would look up stats as "current month," which worked fine.  Now when I try to enter the last 2-3 days, I always end up adjusting one of the dates.  Even more frustrating is selecting "16th to end of month," and it brings up November!

I could swear that sometime in the past I figured this out.  It's petty but annoying.

Thanks!
