I think he's making up his own term as I can't find a reference for it in any of my books (that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, though) for a matrixectomy without the benefit of an incision/excision. I suggest you flag it, saying he spelled it that way three times but you can't find a reference for it. This covers you. Let us know what you find out, though. Maybe someone else will come up with something in the meantime.
