Urinalysis is examined under microscope. High power and low power describe the lens settings available for looking at the specimen.

Very easy...the power of 10 is the number of 0's after the 1. And I do have a BS in mathematics from the U of Ia so you can trust me on this one.

I have always been told it is high powered field.

Here are some uncommon ones that might help in the future.  Monocular visual field.   Visual field superior 36 taped-and-untaped (checking for lid droop).   Mac-to-red visual field (macular threshold to red, for patients that use Plaquenil).   Hope this helps.

everyone going by their own rules. There is no consistency. And thanks to that we're now pretty much considered non professionals IMO. I say bring on the mandatory licensing/certification to bring the professionalism back to the field!
