I can only find "Wise" anywhere I have looked or searched. The doctor spells it as "Wyse" but I am not sure that is correct. Did you find it written somewhere? I want to be absolutely sure I am right before going against his spelling.

Prentiss maneuver. I do think that's what the surgeon means, but I think he's making it up that the bands are called Prentiss. I saw other named bands, but not Prentiss. But for all we know it could be a doctor-speak that is gaining popularity. In other words, if it's clear, I'd give it to him.
