No, don't cap gram-negative. The test Gram stain is capitalized - per Stedmans Inf Dis Book. -s

Also, I worked in a lab for many years, and gram-negative and gram-positive are not capitalized. Gram is the name of the doctor or scientist who came up with the staining test, Gram stain, so that is capped.
It is white. They use acetic acid to stain the area and if there is anything there it turns white.

I can only find "Wise" anywhere I have looked or searched. The doctor spells it as "Wyse" but I am not sure that is correct. Did you find it written somewhere? I want to be absolutely sure I am right before going against his spelling.

I'm not ortho, but I do ortho every now and then as a secondary. I looked this up all over the place for you (Stedman's books and the Internet) and I just couldn't get it. I spent a good 20 minutes on this earlier today and just couldn't find anything. I tried!!!!
