Get QA'd on it and has never been marked wrong. Checked a couple of other web sites they have a hyphen and also onelook does. Possible both ways are correct.

Review of the peripheral blood smear revealed s/l somonice on poikocytosis with lymphocytes and acanthocytes in some teardrop forms.


Can anyone decipher this dictation for me.

Could this be "dominance of poikilocytes"? Poikilocytes = abnormally-shaped erythrocytes but the lymhpocytes and acanthocytes may also present a tear-drop shape. What are the differential diangoses?

at the top of this page i typed in albicas nigras and it gave me albicans nigrans and several web sites. It doe have to do with allergens such as candida and can be similar to thrush, so that alicans nigrans is probably what you are hearing
