I type it out and create my own AutoCorrect

Subject: I type it out and create my own AutoCorrect

I would type it the way you want it and then add it as an AutoCorrect but make sure you marked "Formatted Text" or the 2 won't subscript.

Subject: I also create an AutoCorrect for those types of things sm

I create AutoCorrects for common things like cm squared, O2, etc. but you have to remember to click on the "formatted text" or it won't come out right.  That way all I do is type cm2 and it suprascripts it for me.

I have stedmans loaded and work in word so it will let me know if I have a brand that needs capitalized should I miss it, but on the generics I add them as I get new ones to autocorrect. For instance if you type Metoprolol you could have it autocorrect to metoprolol. Where as cipro I have autocorrect to Cipro.

Subject: I would type it under PLAN and type what is dictated.

I have had that happen to me before, and I was told by QA to not move things around in the report, maybe that is the same for you, but if I were typing this report, I would type it in the order as is dictated, even if that means typing it under the heading PLAN.  Also, his vitals were probably taken at the end of the exam as they were repeated, so it would make sense to type them again under that heading.  Hope that helps!
