vas simply means vessel. Dorland's defines it as follows: a vessel: any canal for carrying a fluid; a general term for such channels, especially those carrying blood, lymph, or spermatozoa. When one hears vasectomy, one usually automatically thinks in terms of the vas deferens in the male, but that is not always necessarily the case.

you have been told to change it. A lot of them use K instead of potassium. It means I am pretty sure normal saline with 20 mEq of potassium at 100 mL per hour, but you are taking a leap typing it out; where I work we don't expand things like that, we leave it as dictated.

I have heard of some hollistic remedies that include a clorox soak of the feet for yellow nails however normally the docs order Lamisil (terbafine hydrochloride). Just my two cents sorry I couldn't be more help.
