depends upon the account.
BOS2 say x4. I recently took a test where I typed it that way and it was corrected (the only thing in the document corrected, BTW, and in each instance was corrected to x 4).
I have one account where I spell out times four, and I have another where it is X four. I simply used the BOS version on the test because I did not have any account specs for it.
