If a doctor can't take the time to spell something like that, which is not a medical term and not something you would be expected to know, then they deserve to fill in the blank themselves.

It doesn't sound like there is anything there to give you a clue as to what might be right and typing any old thing just to avoid leaving a blank isn't fair to the patient.
