Don't be afraid of MS Word, or as I call it,Mess Word. I had avoided it like the plague since I always did DOS and finally WP in Windows. I helped a friend out in ophth/vitreoretinal one winter and had to learn it almost overnight. It is really a lot like our beloved WP, now so more than ever. Just get the regular version and not the one they give you on some computers so you can convert to WP if you have to.
