My friend is trying to find out what this might mean on a death certificate from 1926:

Does anyone know what J.B.C. on a 1920's death certificate might mean, the deceased was a 21 year old woman. I've looked on the archaic medical diagnosis site.

The death certificate says "cause of death: JBC" and "What tests confirmed diagnosis? JBC."

Thanks everyone!

I've been wracking my brain all morning since you asked this - my friend, not accessible at the moment, has this type of cancer...it is something I had never heard of before which is WHY I cannot currently remember.....sounds like cerrocellular or something like that - it's a definite C she told me and not serocellular.....but I'm not spelling it right.  So sorry, wish I could have helped.

I'm going to see her later - will get back on this...but it's too late for your MT work, I am sure :(

very annoying young woman who says in her "Plan": ortho RICE ... I've googled but I can't find this as an "entity" -- I know was RICE is -- but usually she has not mentioned any form of "compression", so in my irritation I've just been leaving it at RICE ... would you spell it out or leave abbreviated? Ditto BRAT diet which can be banana, rice, apple sauce/apple juice + tea/toast so I leave it at BRAT.

Med called Tensol?
Subject: Med called Tensol?

Anyone heard of this? Cannot locate in my references. Went online and researched; only found TenSal (saline) and Tensol (a site in Malta). Given context, TenSal is not a candidate IMO.

Context: However, toward the end of the hospitalization, she was barely able to take any medication or liquid, and we discontinued all oral medications. We did continue the patient on suspension of Roxanol and Ativan and ---TENSOL--- to keep her as comfortable as possible. In fact, she was comfortable throughout her hospice stay.
