ONUX Medical, Inc. has introduced a line of Procedure Specific Implant Cartridges to support the Salute Fixation System for a broad range of surgical applications. This advancement will improve the surgeon's ability to deliver required fixation faster and easier, while effectively addressing material management's need to control costs.
The Salute Fixation System is currently being used in laparoscopic and open hernia repair, urogynecologic pelvic reconstruction, peritoneal closure and abdominoplasty procedures totaling over 1 million/year in the US. The wide range of procedures, having very different fixation requirements, benefit from the changes in the capacity of the disposable Implant Cartridge used in the Salute Fixation System Instrumentation.
Varying the capacity of the Implant Cartridge has the benefit of providing the required fixation count in a single cartridge simplifying the delivery of fixation while controlling cost to the end user. Currently, leading medical institutions are embracing the Salute Fixation System due to its clinical fixation safety and effectiveness.
