Subject: Talus equinus? sm

I've had a few years of ortho experience, but it's been a year or two since I've done any. However, this is the first thing that popped into my mind. Search and see if that seems to fit. My guess is that the talus is in the equinus position?

Talus formation in hand surgery?

As far as I can find talus is only referred to in the foot/ankle, but this doctor is doing a cyst excision on the middle finger and says "The talus formation to the dorsal soft tissue was also  s/l lipsed out."  Can someone help with the talus formation part and also "lipsed out"?  THanks
