Really, so many times when people find answers to the questions that they post, they just say...'Never mind, found it,' which leaves a lot of us up in the air as to what the answer was! So thanks for sharing your solution!

experience is, it lacks credibility especiall when you base it on YOUR experience.  Who are you?  How much experience do you actually have?  What kind of experience do you have?  How many diabetic patients have you encountered in your years of experience?

You can't expect to make a sweeping generalization like "all diabetics have hypertension" and not get called out on it.  Come on!  Know your place.  Arrogance is an unattactive personality trait.

I work for a hospital doing transcription and when they switched us from hourly pay to productivity pay, I went from making a little over $14/hour to over $20 an hour!  It's funny, we all thought it was going to be a bad thing to switch and our bosses kept saying we think you all will be happy, wait and see.  They were right!  I do have medical/dental insurance thru them also, it was never based on my productivity whether or not I have insurance or not.

I'm diabetic, have been in the hospital and I don't have high high blood pressure. In fact, I have low blood pressure. You need to stop spouting off things like you are all knowing. Sheesh, what a goomba*!!

*Forget all the rest of the meanings of goomba, this is what a goomba really is: a goon, a goof, a kook, or poser who doesn't physically resemble a goomba from Mario Bros. but acts just like one. You know a true goomba when you see one.

No, you are not the only one seeing this. We seem to be the only ones talking about it.

I have noticed her quite a bit in the last few days and it just amazes me the answers she gives. I do not think she will stop, and I agree, I hope the people she is giving the info too will double check or leave it out and let their QA people handle it.

To the Monteurochannel posting. sm

I got this straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. Actually from the Peds Urologist whose work I do. He lives in Arizona.

A bladder augmentation with the small bowel ileum (ileocystoplasty) and the creation of a continent catheterizable channel using the small bowel and reconfiguring that into a short tube or channel that is implanted into the bladder.  That allows the patient to catheterize from the abdomen (often the belly button) rather than having to cath through the urethra since after the augmentation they usually can not void enough to empty the enlarged bladder.  It was described by a physician named Montie (I think at the Univ of Miami) and is now often called a Montie catheterizable channel.  Both are an attempt to make a small bladder (eg neurogenic bladder) bigger to hold more urine and avoid urinary incontinence.  Essentially trading an enlarged bladder with the need for catheterization to maintain continence for too small a bladder and incontinence.

Subject: Has anyone noticed this when posting on the word board?

It's a minor annoyance....but when you go to the verification page, do you have to click in the box to put in the letter/number combination?

On the other boards, the cursor is already there. I can't tell you how many times I have glanced at the code, entered it without looking at the screen, then hit "enter", only to get an error message and have to enter a new code. I finally started paying attention and as far as I can tell, this is the only board that does that.

As I said, minor but annoying.....wanted to see if anyone else has experienced that.
