Todd's paralysis is a neurological condition characterized by a brief period of paralysis following a seizure. The paralysis -- which may be partial or complete -- generally occurs on one side of the body and usually subsides completely within 48 hours. Todd's paralysis may also affect speech or vision.

I just checked the QA for this report, and it was Todd paralysis just as you have mentioned.

Thank you for that information! After re-reading the report, the symptoms you listed do fit.

Patient had metastatic brain tumors that were treated with radiation. Now has suspected seizure disorder.

D: Possible seizure disorder with (s/l) hogs paralysis.

Research brings up a Dr. Hoggs who is somewhat involved with neurology, and this may be a new eponym. However, I can find no definite, reliable references. Anybody hear of this?

I'm going to go ahead and flag this anyway; however, I am curious. Thanks!
