If a doc dictates hemoblobin A1C, is it not correct to use HbA1c?  Should it actually be written out? Also if "blood pressure" is dictated, is BP not acceptable?
I know the account probably has different specifics that I was not made aware of but I am just pulling my hair out now.

Thanks.

Again, I really appreciate it.  I was so frustrated by the "not a mind reader" comment.  I'm quite an experienced, long-time MT but every once in awhile we hear something we're not familiar with.  I felt her attitude was uncalled for and rude and quite condescending.

It's the people on here like you and Becky and MDmt, etc. who make it worthwhile to keep coming back to this forum though !

Thanks for taking a stab at it.    Been MT'g for a very long time and this is a first.  New account and so far 3 docs have dictated it as 40 and 4 weeks.

He often slurs words but this is pretty clear. It's possible it doesn't begin with "t" but I do hear the "r", pretty sure of the "eye" sound and "n". It sounds like "Tree-in" long i. I really appreciate all your help.
