if you are clear on the letters being given, I would just put what is dicated.  Can't be expected to know all abbrev, a lot are just plain "coinded".

Medications which were discontinued were the Advil and the enteric-coated aspirin. He states that he does not take them daily, although he is on medication ______ (word here sounds like "mars" or "morris"???)
