i've never really looked it up, but the docs say it so often i give it to them.  my guess is that edema would create a gas in the soft tissues.  or, they say something thing interosseous gas ---  just my guess, but it's frequently dictated on my radiology reports.

It usually takes me twice the time to transcribe the work.  If the doc is easy and you can go right from one template/document to the next, it should only take you like 4 hours at the most.  10-12 hours is an awful long time.  What kind of interruptions are you getting.

The initials in V.A.T.E.R. syndrome refer to five different areas in which a child may have abnormalities: Vertebrae, Anus, Trachea, Esophagus, and Renal (kidneys). There may also be cardiac and limb conditions, which changes the acronym to V.A.C.T.E.R.L. A child diagnosed with one of these syndromes will not necessarily have a problem in every area, but a constellation of birth defects involving many of the areas. There is no currently known cause, but a gene defect is believed to be involved.

If it states the specific hospital or institution, i.e. General Hospital Diabetes Education Team, then capitalize it. They way you have it would be NOT capitalized. Hope that makes sense (no coffee yet).
