I have been an MT for over 25 years and this is crazy stuff. I just do what the clients/hospitals prefer. Too many AAMT guidelines and I feel some are just totally ridiculous.

Well said. I have always enjoyed helping people find answers and I have received a lot of good help
The most important thing is to learn how to do research and how to frame a question so that you can get a useful answer. If you learn how to get the answer and know it is correct, then you are on the way to doing a good job as an MT.
