Yoga poses are called "asanas" and "adha" means one-half, as in doing one-half of the body at a time. Only one I can think of offhand where you would stretch your piriformis is the tree asana. Stand on one foot and place the sole of the other foot against your thigh (don't try it without holding on the first time!). Hope this helps.

I was trying to find this for you, but could not yet...it sounds like it must be a yoga pose that they do - you may find your answer on a yoga website.  The piriformis is (as you may already know) behind the glute muscle, and this area hurts when you have sciatica too, so a yoga pose for this may be the answer.  Look under piriformis and yoga pose.

Good luck!

ESL seems to be correcting himself, but I can't figure out.  Any ideas?
