In approximately 30% of people, one or both PCAs take origin from the internal carotid artery (ICA) directly or via the posterior communicating artery. Direct origin from the ICA is termed "fetal PCA" (when the ipsilateral P1 segment is congenitally absent). This may have important consequences, in that stroke in the PCA territory may be caused by occlusive disease of the anterior circulation. (from eMedicine)

embryologically, the kidney develops in several lobules. Incomplete fusion of these lobules can persist postnatally and even into adult life. This fetal lobulation is recognized on intravenous urography as smooth regular indentations in the renal contour, without parenchymal thinning or abnormalities in the underlying calyx. Inflammatory scars are deeper and typically associated with an abnormal underlying calyx. Renal infarcts are generally random in distribution and cause a broad flat depression in the renal outline. Fetal lobulation may also be recognized at CT, MRI or ultrasound.

...patient taken back to the operating room, at which time they hooked up the fetal scapley to the monitor and noticed it was at 120s, but then continued to decelerate.....
This is a c-section for a baby with deceleration bradycardia and arrest of descent.
