sorry, verbatim docs, i'll take my chances and spell it out.  they say these accounts are to be transcribed exactly as dictated, but i really cannot picture a physician throwing the report down in disgust, stating, "i won't sign this crap!" just if i spell out an abbreviation.  too old school i suppose.  JMHO
