d-dimer and a s/l
Subject: d-dimer and a s/l

I have a lab test here that the doctor is dictating the results on and I recognized the D-dimer but it s/l he is saying 'parallel' after it. Is there another test that goes hand in hand with this? I've not ever heard it if there is. Thanks in advance!

re:d-dimer
Subject: re:d-dimer

The whole sentence is: GU: No dysuria, frequency or urgency. Previous labs in the hospital reveal a creatinine of 1.4 with a blood sugar of 205. Free T4 was a little low, with a normal TSH. D-dimer parallel was negative and CBC was normal.

Thank you!

GTTP level?
Subject: GTTP level?

The doctor states the patient's GTTP level was either 46 or 446.  It's hard to tell if she made a mistake and stuttered or if it is 446.  I have no idea what the average range would be for this (either in the 40's or the 400's).  Also, does anyone know what GTTP stands for?

Thanks!
