Subject: mcg and L

Use mcg, not u. All apothecary symbols such as "u" are considered dangerous and should not be used. (BOS-2,pgs 148,253)

Use capital L for liters. Lowercase l is a dangerous abbreviation as it may be confused with the numeral 1. (RE: BOS-2, p 404; Stedman's Abbrv-4)
