Patient had some DCIS in her specimen that went to the edges and the additional medial margin also had a couple s/l nets (nests???) of DCIS in it. Anyone heard this before? TIA

It is known that this tumor is negative for estrogens and negative for progesterone receptors, but is "over expessed with the Fuhr 2 new test."


 


Any ideas on this?  Also I am not understanding this medication it sounds like "perceptin".

I just checked MediLexicon (a site for abbreviations), which says CA stands for both cancer and carcinoma, so I guess my opinion is not correct.
