Could you document this list?  How did you formulate it?  If you have sites that you use for specific medications, could you document them by sharing the site?  If you post terminology, could you document it for us.  It would give more credibility to your answers.  Inquiring minds want to know!

I, for one, am always on the lookout for research sites.  It makes my job quicker and easier.  And if I am ever *called on it*, I have research to back it up.

Thank you!

Thanks Cathy.
Subject: Thanks Cathy.

That is what I currently do. I just have not had it show up a lot until recently - a new doctor that is in the habit of this. I did check the client profile and it does not distinguish. I am thinking I will send a note off to QA lead to double check but until then keep doing as I have. Thanks for your input!

we are here to try and help each other.  Working at home means being alone and it does help to have someone else's opinion on a *sounds like*, or have the benefit of someone else's reference books, or have the benefit for someone else's experience.

I do not believe that poster was being rude but was trying to help YOU.  The tone, and sometimes the wording, of your posts makes people feel .  And....well....read below and you will (hopefully) get the idea.

I asked below if you could document some your answers.  That would help give credibility to your posts and ALSO help the OP do some research for him/herself before inserting a term into a legal document that someone threw out into cyberspace.

Just saying that you do *QA all day long*, is not credibility enough for a lot of us.  You have to remember that there are people on these boards, here and elsewhere, who have a lot more experience than you in both transcribing AND in QA.  It is just the way the odds fall.

So allow yourself to be helped by others' suggestions if you want to stay on the board in a *stress free zone* or continue creating a ruckus with your words gone amuk.  This would be my advice for what it's worth...take it or leave it....either way makes no difference to me.

Peace!

Subject: sorry Kathie - I beg to differ - I have diabetes...sm

I have been a type 2 diabetic first in pregnancy, then it went away for 8 years and then came back, lost 60 pounds, still have diabetes and have NEVER had HBP (high blood pressure), never been on any antihypertensive drugs ever and went to the MD last Thursday and my BP was 134/70.  I attribute the 134 to WCH (white-coat hypertension).  *LOL*

So no, not every diabetic has high blood pressure - that's way too general a statement and I have been MT'g for 28 years and worked in a hospital for 10 years in many other capacities prior to MT'g.

Have a GREAT weekend!!!

Sorry I couldn't help.

I can only find "Wise" anywhere I have looked or searched. The doctor spells it as "Wyse" but I am not sure that is correct. Did you find it written somewhere? I want to be absolutely sure I am right before going against his spelling.

I am thoroughly confused on this! I have searched through everything, and find Micafungin. I can't figure out why, even though he pronounced it "mico", QA would change it to Micofungin. The dictator was discussing the meds he was using (ID). Any ideas?
