Subject: Viagra for use of ischemia?

Doctor said Viagra twice when discussing medications for a woman patient with ischemic ulcers at the tips of the index and middle fingers and poor circulation to the left hand.

It was clear. I know it is the nice blue pill for men, but are you aware of any other uses for it?
Yes, a virus could cause ischemia
Subject: Yes, a virus could cause ischemia

Pericarditis can be caused by a virus which can lead to restricted blood flow to/from the heart because of damage done by the virus.

I assume it's possible the same type of thing could happen in other parts of the body as well....

Subject: erosive ischemia?

Can an EGD be negative for erosive ischemia?  Its definitely not erosive gastritis.  These are the sentences.  These are not making sense to me.

Cardiology consultation was obtained.  The patient underwent a nuclear medicine scan which was negative for ____ ischemia. EGD negative for erosive ischemia.  The patient has been chest pain free since her admission.

The interesting thing about it is the patient has (sounds like "a century") of a lot of animals and pets, dogs, cats, and birds, close to his bedroom.

Then later she states, "allergic rhino-sinus has something to do with his pet "century." I cannot figure this out! Thanks for looking!

Subject: planemetry??seems probable. telemetry seems improbable. SM

From the word parts, I imagine that planemetry is measuring the size of the heart and its chambers by taking "still" echos in various planes, then moving the screen markers to define the maximal up-down dimensions and the maximal left-right dimensions.
