nope--he is definitely saying med neb, as in "I ordered another one-hour med neb treatment."  He says it several times throughout the dictation.  I have heard this before, but it has been a long time, and I cannot remember how to transcribe it.  Thanks though!

Subject: Here is more info on Xopenex. See inside

XOPENEX (pronounced zô-pen-eks) is a fast-acting medicine that is used to treat the narrowing of airways (bronchospasm) caused by asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). XOPENEX relaxes the tightened muscles around your airway passages and relieves symptoms like coughing, sneezing, chest tightening, and shortness of breath.

Also if you google cystic fibrosis drugs, you will see they will prescribe bronchodilators for this.

I am pretty confind that it is Xopenex. You are welcome. NM

drugs.com has a wildcard and phonetic search for MTs. The link to this search interface is on the homepage in the upper right column. It could be helpful. You can also add just a couple letters to the main search bar at the top and possible matches will appear in a drop down menu. HTH...
