In Stedman's Ophthalmology 4th Edition, optic nerve pallor is listed... could your doc be stuttering or correcting himself with the "haired" part?

In a cataract extraction, would a haptic or an optic be captured in the ciliary sulcus? He later says that the optic was captured in the capsular bag with the haptics being latched securely in the sulcus.

I don't exactly know what you are asking. If the question is regarding what he meant and you have any question, flag it and send it to your Q.A. or whereever you send reports with blanks. Not a good idea to try to "correct" the doc's dictation and an even worse idea to guess.
