Subject: pain and bloody (bowel) movements

usually go under "complaints", and not generally under the physical exam. On the other hand, "tenderness" could go under PE.

Yes, that would be helpful. Here is most of the paragraph:
A small bowel series was performed alternating AP and PA studies at 15-minute intervals for 2 hours. The small bowel {s/l murals or better} and appears normal throughout. There is no unsual dilatation, segmentation, or mass lesion.

Dictation states "Patient was started on an IV antibiotic with Flagyl and Zosyn and placed on bowel rest with IV fluids."   Sounds something like bowarest - is there a medication similar to this?  Not sure if bowel rest make sense?  Thanks!
