Phisoperitoneum
Subject: Phisoperitoneum

A 1-cm incision was made at the base of the umbilicus, the anterior abdominal wall elevated, and a Veress needle inserted and phisoperitoneum created.

I am unable to verify the term phisoperitoneum.  I can find physo, which means to distend or inflate with air or gas, which would make since, but the dictator is spelling it phisoperitoneum.

Thank you in advance for your help!

There are a number of valid google references to physoperitoneum.
