Wasnt Bonnie with Medware, then StatIQ or something and now Transolutions?? Kinda makes you worry

when a recruiter keeps changing jobs too.. Maybe, it's because she is unsure of whether her companies do or DONT offshore... Hmmmmm...(scratching my head) Could just be the sad state of affairs in that before you know it, even the most solid people become job hoppers. I had ONE job for 10 years and all I have done since I started doing this at-home stuff is job hop. Very discouraging.

Bonnie, would you please explain how offshoring sm

can possibly benefit US MTs?  I've seen nothing but harm in many ways (except for AAMTs benefit for increased revenue as well as MTSOs getting cheap labor).   I'd hate for my medical record to be transcribed by someone who doesn't even know which terms belong in a PE and have a hard time stringing the words together to make their requests (check out some of the occasional posts on the Word Help Board--it's shocking).  Thanks.

Contradiction Bonnie J. Monico
..you state you would not trust posters on this board because of anonymity, yet you offer an invitation for employment(?)

I suspect, MS Monico, other underlying issues are what raise the resentment here.

Thank goodness THERE IS a board with anonymity. The MT industry has been hung upside down with all of the sweeping changes that have nothing to do with protecting our profession, but rather politics and greed.

Yes, the poster misspelled the owner's name incorrectly, but I think the hot issue everyone is so heated over is OUTSOURCING PRIVATE AMERICAN HEALTH INFORMATION WITH NO REGARD FOR THE PATIENT'S AWARENESS OF THIS PRACTICE OR CHOICE.

It seems, Ms Monico, that the dreaded offshore outsourcing has reached proportions that force many to give in to, go along with, and otherwise sacrifice their beliefs to put food on the table. There would be no need for anonymity if this were not so.

The powers that manipulate the industry and AAMT have turned away from the professional Transcriptionist in the UA. I did say professional transcriptionist, not anything less. AAMT has also tried to hush the voice of the majority of the transcriptionists in this country, provided a different agenda other than what it should have been - a professional organization to uphold the industry, and that should have included protecting our private health records here in the United States. AAMT has been nothing but a puppet for AHIMA who care less about professional medical transcriptionists. Their agenda has always been a power play over the transcriptionist, and this has contributed some to the dilemma we are all in now.

Thank goodness for anonymity. Is there any other place where one can voice or vent their frustrations with this industry without fear of retaliation or being blacklisted? The owner of this web site is to be highly commended for her courage, class and professionalism to allow our voices to be heard.

wasnt set up to own mq
Cbay was a service for a long time in the US and then they started Indian operations.

As to the original poster, here's my experience:

Pay is average on par with everyone else. You get a schedule and are expected to stick to it. They WILL ask you where you are if you do not. Pay day has always been accurate and on time.

There are different programs to work on but the few I've worked on seem to be quick to learn.

I would recommend them if someone asked me.
wasnt this Lee's sister in law?
q
Are you talking about DSG or intouchMI. Sorry. Wasnt sure. nm
:
P.S. I just wasnt sure whether it was best to put an ad on here on job seeker or apply to the
companies that are hiring instead.
I know your post wasnt directed at me

But I believe what you said you made.  I also caught on very quick to MT, had a great account to learn on my first few years and pretty much went like gangbusters.  I actually make less money now than I did then, simply because I seem to get lazier each year.  LOL

If you type reasonably fast, have a decent account and actually work your set hours (unlike me), it's easy to make a good living.  Of course, it's hard for all of these things to line up but when it does, it's a beautiful thing.

wasnt just "complaining", just stating a fact.

Their pay scale for ES wasnt high enough for me. I make a lot more where I work now.
but, to each his own.
I always have been there several years and it wasnt always so bad but now with no work half the time
communication I am no longer happy there and moving on.
Wasnt expecting anything but got a nice box of chocolates and a card
I shared my chocolates with neighbors because Lordy, Lord, I do not need to be looking at a nice box of chocolates all day, because I wouldnt be looking at it all day - know what I mean? :}
Are some of their production bonuses tied to the amount of work to QA. I wasnt sure about that. I
think that must be a different bonus.
Wasnt that software awful. Quit after one day. Too many programs to open before you could even do
a single report..What a waste of time.. too bad though. They seemed to be a really nice company to work for, but there was no way I was taking half the day to do two reports. NO WAY>>>

StatIQ
The lady is extremely nice. The work is very flexible. The program that she uses is GREAT!!!! I only worked there for a very short time. Really wish I could have stayed but I was juggling between two jobs at the time. They are at the top of my list if things were to change and I could add on more work or even switch companies.
StatIQ
Anyone have any info on them.  I tested, did well, offered a job and have yet to hear from them since last week.  Is this the norm for them?  Just curious.   Thanks.
StatIQ
StatIQ - AWESOME place for ICs.  You are treated with respect and caring, and always plenty of work.
StatIQ
Very nice people to work with. Decent rate - good incentives. Plenty of work. I work there and love it.
StatIQ
I've had experience with this company and the owners for years. I don't see how you could go wrong....it's awesome!

Does anyone know anything (good or bad) about the company statiq?
Does anybody work at StatIQ?

Try Greenlight or StatIQ....
Greenlight is out of Portland, OR....StatIQ in New Mexico....they both use Emdat and work is always available early in the morning when I start work (around 5 a.m. Eastern time)

StatIQ Solutions MTs

I LOVE StatIQ!!!
I have been with StatIQ for quite some time and I absolutely LOVE working with John and Paula...they are the best! The platform is very easy, and the dictators are great! The best company I have ever done work for!!
StatIQ Solutions in NM?

just wondering if anyone currently works for this company and how you like it, thanks.

StatIQ Solutions?
Anyone heard of this company?  If so what do you know?
First day with StatIQ and I love it!!

   I just had to share!

RESPONSE FROM STATIQ

Hi all!

I just couldn't sit back and not respond to this trail of messages about our company.  Hopefully you'll all see that the original MT who posted has contacted me directly (because I responded back directly to her post), and we have resolved the confusion.  She was kind enough to update the status of things later in the day – please do read her post above.

This particular situation was nothing more than an isolated incident that occurred, which had absolutely nothing to do with anything intentional on our part.  I want to make one thing very clear to those of you who may be reading these posts wondering if our company is one that is reliable to work for.  We have ALWAYS understood that the people working for us are human beings who are working to earn a living, and we have ALWAYS made a point to pay our contractors and employees on a very consistent, regular basis.  We make it clear from the beginning which days are the days we mail out checks, and we always mail checks on those dates.  If there ever were a reason that we did not mail them, any kind of a problem, we would notify our MTs about it.  Our MTs are more than welcome to contact me directly about a missing check in the mail, and I will always remedy the situation in a very timely fashion.  I would not ever intentionally ignore an e-mail about that subject, of that I can assure you.  StatIQ is definitely NOT in the category of “Nonpayers,” never has been, never will be.

To sum it up, I guess I'd encourage all of you out there who might experience a situation similar to pick up the phone and call someone at your company if you don't receive a response via e-mail.  E-mails get lost, overlooked, etc., but any respectable company should be available to receive a phone call from you and would hopefully be willing to resolve an issue like this promptly.  I know there are plenty of companies out there who DO take advantage and do get away with not paying or paying slowly.  We don't happen to be one of them.

Anyone out there work for StatIQ?
Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.
Anybody ever work for StatIQ Solutions...
Any info would be much appreciated.
Is StatIQ doing voice recognition?

If so, what is the average line rate?

Is anyone waiting for a check from StatIQ?

Checks get mailed out on the 1st of the month and it is now the 15th and I still have not recieved mine.  Today is the 15th and my second check of the month will be mailed out today, but yet I haven't even recieved my first check for July.

I have emailed them twice over the past few days and have yet to get a response.  Just curious if anyone else is having any problems with getting paid.

Yes, Greenlight Transcription out of Oregon and StatIQ out of NM..

.
Any current information RE: StatIQ Solutions? Thanks!

No, my check has been late 2 times in 3 years, PO fault, not StatIQ's.
I don't think you have to worry in the least that they are not paying you. I guarantee it has been lost in the mail. Please do call them. The times mine has been late, I have called and always been told if it is a week late to tell them and they will re-write a check and send it. They want to know if you don't receive it.
It's kinda like the Irish.
There are people who feel compelled to set off a bomb just to keep the war going. That's you.

Are you entertained by all of this, and can't bear to not continue the conflict? And here I am, adding to it. Well, actually my issue is with YOU, not the company.
Kinda of late to run away when most of
us were KICKED OUT.
I kinda hope you don't.
I've landed in a similar place and I don't want somebody mucking it up. I, like NorCal, has an exclusive account. It's a wonderful feeling seeing there are 12 jobs there, and knowing I can go pour a cup of coffee, take a shower, check the mail, or even paint my nails and know that those 12 jobs, in no danger of going out of TAT, will be there for me. There are days where the account is light, but they are balanced by the ones that are bountiful. I have no desire to poach on anybody else's account and accept the light days as part of the rhythm of the job. When they add new accounts, I can ask for a piece of that, but until then I respect other people's work, and I sure as heck would hate to see this place turn into your type of snatch-and-grab tactics, because it's great being able to go to the bathroom without worrying about a vulture picking the work carcass clean.
Meridian and Transolutions.. ESPECIALLY Transolutions
xx
I kinda had that same thought, but I tried to stifle it.
I see some of these posts where people brag about making big bucks on their own accounts, and it just boggles my mind because their spelling and grammar are atrocious. Why am I having such a tough time making any money at MT with a 99.8% or higher QA score?
Ew - kinda scary! Thanks for the warning everybody. (nm)
(nm)
kinda agrees with my point

great new insurance -- NO DETAILS AVAILABLE ---  trust us, we have anonymous posters on a board that say they love working for us.

haha - actually I kinda' like it better as a DO-DO list! nm
.
Here is my question.. kinda long..
I work as a trainer for a great company; however, the pay is just not there.  I asked for a raise with no response. I have been in the MT business for 20ish years.  I have and do perform QA duties, MT duties, etc when needed, but unfortunately the company I work for does not care.  I truly love working with new MTs and new employees. I just want to find a company that wants the same.  Any suggestions?!
lol...yah, person sounds kinda mad
/
LOL, it DID look kinda like something Focus would do to get applicants....
We all need an occasional giggle...Thinking Focus posted that to attract applicants was pretty entertaining :-)
Kinda like you should check your capitalizations?
Because she's not simply expressing an opinion, she is on a rant about a company she doesn't even intend to work for. If you don't like what you're offered, don't accept. It's that simple.

Sounds like there's a lot more than the MDI offer that has her off to the races.

There are constructive ways to present your argument and there are less constructive ways that make one appear a bit over the edge.

Nice way to pick on another poster's spelling though. I'll bet you're one of those delightful ladies that try to rain on everybody's parade who's happy, too.

Next time, check your own posts very carefully before you squirm in delight at finding a typo in another poster's post.

Have a lovely day :-)
Ever analyze this kinda stuff???
Those ticker-tapes that run along the bottom of the TV screen during news broadcasts, such as local news channels, MSNBC, CNN, HLN, etc?

I love to watch those just to catch all the typos (yes, I sometimes sit and watch the news for an hour to catch the highlights and find myself obsessing over the typos the ticker contains, lol!).
