That's your opinion - and pedofilia - obviously you did not BF or have a good bond with your children. Do you also consider it child abuse that I did not use disposable diapers? What about the fact that I worked as a wet nurse? Some things are just natural - You should read the book, The Family Bed - BF may be looked upon differently in the US - but that is only cultural - and I do not bend to cultural issues - I did as I pleased - and no one else cared or ever even discouraged me from BF my son as long as I did. Unless you've been there - you do not understand - sorry for you.

My child was circumcised years ago, did fine. Years later my 2 male grandchildren were not circumcised and as they were aging were running into lots of trouble, could not retract the foreskin because as they grew, so did the foreskin, could not keep the penis clean and finally at an older age (when more painful for them) had to get circumcised. Well known fact, smegma collects there and causes infection and could lead to worst things than just infection, has been linked to penile cancer.

Really think court case, child abuse charges
when another mother breastfed her child past a so called normal age. The poster says do not worry about what others think and the kids did not have to wear braces, but what about emotional issues that might come to pass with a 6 year old still on the boob? Most in this country, I am sure, would agree with these posts that you overstepped bounds in a mother-child relationship when this happened. Some things just should not happen.
Paddling is child abuse. Even Florida doesn't allow it.

i care about child abuse, welfare fraud, and
dumping of young males to the streets, so they lessen the competition for the multi-wife thing. This is all well-documented. This is not about just polygamy -- which is also against the law, but its the abuse of children and abuse of our welfare system -- all under the banner of religion. If it was just about men taking multiple ADULT wives, the government would not likely have stepped in to even enforce that law.
In most cases it's ruder to expose people to a squalling infant.

It is not a necessary procedure, I agree. But it is better to do it, out of hygenic reasons.
It gives a little pain for the baby, it most probably cries more for being exposed and cold.
It does not in any way minimize the sensitivity in later life.
There are cases where in later years the foreskin does NOT expand and leads to phimosis ( an abnormal tightness of the foreskin preventing retraction over the glans) and the then necessary surgical procedure is much more painful.
Just let it go, I say yes to circumcision...nm

Islam - Circumcision is not symbolic of being part of the Muslim community, as it is in Judaism, but most Muslims circumcise their sons. Though circumcision is not specifically mandated or mentioned in the Qur'an, many Muslims believe it is necessary because Allah ordered Muhammad to follow the way of Abraham, who circumcised himself. Many Muslims also believe circumcision is a form of cleanliness.
I am also going to speak to my friend Sharif and see what he experienced regarding circumcision growing up in Morocco as a Muslim.
By the way, to those who believe that all Muslims are terrorists and want to do harm to us, you really should meet some Muslim people and get to know them. They are some of the finest people I have ever known.

There is a religious not hygenic reason for circumcision.
Like so many Jewish commandments, the brit milah is commonly perceived to be a hygienic measure; however the biblical text states the reason for this commandment quite clearly: circumcision is an outward physical sign of the eternal covenant between G-d and the Jewish people. It is also a sign that the Jewish people will be perpetuated through the circumcised man. The health benefits of this practice are merely incidental. It is worth noting, however, that circumcised males have a lower risk of certain cancers, and the sexual partners of circumcised males also have a lower risk of certain cancers.
The commandment is binding upon both the father of the child and the child himself. If a father does not have his son circumcised, the son is obligated to have himself circumcised as soon as he becomes an adult. A person who is uncircumcised suffers the penalty of kareit, spiritual excision; in other words, regardless of how good a Jew he is in all other ways, a man has no place in the World to Come if he is uncircumcised.

my dirtly little secret, I used to be an LPN and CMA, used to surgical technology. It takes seconds, and while I had silent tears and I worried and fretted, but they were fine, and Nola is not misinformed here, being in clinical practice for years, and working for general surgeons, I saw many men, some in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, who had infection after infection because they could not retract the foreskin the right way, phimosis is painful and can become precancerous, and yes, we had some gentlemen with penile cancer. As I said, I was able to snuggle and nurse my baby boys both times right after circumcision, no problems. Men's anatomy is so different (!!!!) from female's (duh), so you cannot compare the unsterile, crude labial circimcisions done in third world countries with what is done in hospital for our baby boys. Anatomy just dictates this. I was so glad when my daughter was born, it was not even anything to worry about!

My male kitty
when he first came to live with us he was a mere 6 weeks old, and he would drink from the water bowl while "standing" on the edge of the bowl (front paws only) which looked silly but cute too! Then, he rapidly grew and grew and began to tip the water bowl over when doing that, so thankfully he stopped, but now I notice him sliding his paws (slowly) in a digging motion before drinking and can't help but notice how noisey he is when he drinks, he sounds like a dog lapping or a bird taking a bath! Boys!

Because any female knows how hard it is to go to school while having your period, especially having your FIRST period. And the thought of her using a tampon at that age I am sure freaks the poor child out. My DD is 17 and she still doesn't use tampons. I never used them until I had my 3rd child, over the age of 30. Only a male (I hope) would make such an uneducated response...more power to ya Mom, stick up for your DD 100%... the teacher was absolutely wrong in the way this situation was handled and should be confronted about it...good luck!

I can't remember where I read it, but I did read somewhere that the reason males have nipples is because during development the "blueprint" for nipples is there before male or female genitalia are formed. Now whether or not this is actual fact is anyone's guess. I have also heard that if men are given hormones they could produce milk and breastfeed.
Male menopause
Is anyone's signifant other going though male menopause, mid life crisis (or whatever it is called). If so, how old are they and what is it they're going through (or better yet what are you going through). Mine is not bipolar or depressed (although he's making me depressed). Just wondering what others are facing with their husbands.

My sister was just at the bank and while she was leaving she noticed a male banker staring at her. A couple of minutes later she gets a phone call from this banker telling her if she ever needs anything to call him. She asaked if he does this with all the people that bank and he said no just the pretty ones.
He did NOT help her when she was there so he had to have had the banker that helped her reopen her account and get ALL of her information. This is soooooo BAD ! She lives alone. How can this man do this I believe he was a manager or something not just a regular employee. UUUHHHHHH!!!!!! My mom use to be a banker so I told my sis to call her and see what she should do but my mom is pretty passive so I'm not sure what she will say. This makes me so angry to think that he has ALL her information UHHHH! This is sooo wrong!
My sis is only 21 and lives alone. She has already had one scare at her apartment and I'm sure she will feel unsafe once again. I don't know why this man thinks he can do this!

Oh, my, did not know you included a male as being a pregnant
person, thought surely a we were pregnant meant another female, just call me old fashioned but when I grew up only females got pregnant, carried the babies, had the babies. Just have never heard of a male being pregnant but will take your word for it. I guess times have changed.

My baby boy's name is Curly, a.k.a. Curls, a.k.a. fattyboy, crybaby boy, or kittyboy. I once decided he should have a Native American name so his full name is Curly Purrsloud Longtail Kittyboy. :D Although now the poor baby has just been diagnosed with diabetes so I may need to make that Curly Purrsloud Longtail takes-insulin-well Kittyboy. :)
First ever male furkid here and yuck!
I have a neutered male cat who is about 2 years old now, love him so but I wondered where the big stink was coming from and turns out it is him, his behind to go into detail. I have 2 other furkids, his brotheI and female and neither one of these are smelly. He nor his brother spray on the furniture or walls, have never seen that happen but can anyone tell me why he might be so smelly- are there glands in the rear I am totally unaware or ?? Being as he is over 20 pounds probably I will have to take him to be groomed but the question is why?? He is in good health as far as I am aware. Thanks.

PUT YOUR $#@!& dishes IN the dishwasher. NOT in the sink. NOT on the counter. NOT left on the table. Are you mow-rons handicapped? Am I the only one in the house with the capability of actually being able to do the latch, lower the door, slide out the rack, and place dishes inside? I totally agree with the OP. I too have been inappropriately treated by men, uncomfortable staring or smiling or flitatious comments and it gets a little tiresome. The problem is that men never grow up. They would do this into their 90s if they could still see!

actually they DO cast out their male children as teens
often times if they do not "comply" with the religious teachings. There is an entire group of "Lost boys" all over Utah and the surrounding areas where FDLS and other religious off-shoots have cast out their teen boys. Really really sad. I lived in Utah and have known quite a few current and former FDLS members and also know a couple of men who as teens were "cast out" by their families. I think also the older men don't particularly care for the younger teen boys being "competetion" for them as far as the young girls go...it's disgusting religous fanatacism at its worst.

Whey the He!! are we discussing whether or not a female would ever do this. What happened was horrible! Plain and simple. Whey even bring the sex of the person into this? If that is what you are concerned about then you are totally missing the point of the story!

the 'emergency' but rather than contacting an attorney I would just try to recall where you might have given her contact information - call them and change ASAP and I would not even fill in that spot in the future citing your experience in these two situations and the problems it caused and if they fuss - give them a phoney name and addy and let it go. I think it is there for your safety really, secondly for them to collect should you not pay a bill - I have only been called once in my 55 years as my son got behind on his credit union car payment and they traced me down through 3 counties - so think you definitely had an unusual experience.
Abuse
Call your local shelter and they will advise you on ways to leave safely. NEVER take abuse - physically, verbally, or mentally from anyone. Forget the church kid, learn to love yourself, and lead by example for your children. If you act like a doormat, do not be suprised when you get stepped on!
You need a long time on your own before you are ready to think about entering another relationship. You are not out of your present relationship yet, but you can be if that is your decision. Best wishes to you.

I think it is abuse.
Take the poor doggy into your house. Your cat may hide, but my guess is the dog will ignore the cat. I got my Sheltie when I had 2 cats and they all got along just fine. Please don't leave this poor thing outside, especially if it hot in your area. If you cannot bring it in, call the authorities. It is kinder than leaving her out to suffer.
