shot in the dark, but *cortical* biomechanical spacer?? I know cortical bone grafts are used sometimes. just a thought.

Screws were then placed into the vertebral bodies through the plate.  A "Kenlock" screw was then tightened at each of the vertebral bodies after the final tightening of each of the four screws.   Sl Kenlock or Chemlock, but I cannot verify. Thanks for any help!

it's also used as a general reference to the "neck" portion of a structure.  So where you would probably say cysts in the neck of the pancreas, he's saying cervical (meaning here neck of the pancreas) cysts.

Dr says Elements of secondary spinal stenosis are appreciated especially at L4-5 secondary to (what s/l post ligaflatum) hypertrophy and facet arthropathy. Could he be saying post ligamental? I usually have no problem with MRIs but this is a new guy and he clips his words. Thanks!

Once again, I am trying to make sense of the hospital radiology reports.  Noncontrast MRI of lumbar spine shows a clonus ending posterior to L1.   It does not sound right to me.  clonus does not make sense but I do not type much radiology.  Anyone have a clue what else it could be?  It does sound like he is saying clonus.???  Thanks
