When something happens to a patient after his meeting with the doctor, where and under what title do you put it on your report. I have a patient who passed out while making a follow- up appointment and needed to be sent to the ER. There is a whole paragraph dedicated to this. Where should I put it and under what title? I have already typed the whole visit and he was down to the assessment.

Phyllis ... Thank you so much!!  The name Duroziez is correct, and it goes along with Quincke - another type of pulse.  I wish the people these things are named after had easier sounding names!!  I appreciate your help on this very much, as this doctor does not like to be bothered and expects me to know every medical word.

Take care, Judy H

Type of cardiac pulse
Subject: Type of cardiac pulse

Hi ... Am transcribing a cardiac exam, and the doc said:  "I don't feel a "derosia's" pulse."  I typed it as it sounds, but I can't find that type of pulse in any of my reference books or on the web.  Has anyone heard of this type of pulse?  Thanks if you do
