A question for Ms. McGrogan

I have a question for you and I intend to ask it respecfully and in a pleasant way. Online communication is often difficult because it is one dimensional and you cannot hear a tone of voice or see a smile. As an American citizen, and one who lives in a state with a very high percentage of unemployment, I need to ask why any company would send any work to India when there are American workers willing and able to do it? This is not an accusation (the owners of the company are free to run it in any manner they wish); but rather an honest question. I really do not feel that I can participate with any company that offshores simply out of respect for my fellow American workers. If I am not part of the solution (not participating), then I become part of the problem (perpetuating the drain away of American jobs). Again, this is not meant to be confrontational in the least; just an honest question as I simply cannot understand how any American company can participate in offshoring with a clear conscience. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Transcend - Sue McGrogan

You are deal wrong.  Sue is one of the fairest, most caring and professional person that I have ever had the opportunity to meet and work with.  Mr. Woodruff would never had said anything like you suggested.  Why in the world would he.  That makes no sense at all.  Transcend isn't worse than any of the other companies and better than some.  You should not bad mouth people that you obviously know nothing about.  Sue is wonderful and treated me above and beyond.  This is from direct personal experience.  The other suggestion is just plain crazy - Mr. Woodruff would never say that even if it was true which  I am sure it is not.  He isn't nuts.
