ASR pay

That does not sound like a bad rate considering what most companies seen to be paying for ASR, but none of them are paying enough in my opinion. Personally, I have not been able to be productive enough to offset the lower pay per line. If you are only making half or less per line, you will need to double what you are currently doing in lines to break even. The more productive you are now on straight transcription, the harder it may be for you to match that on ASR. Apparently, some MTs are doing that and more with no problem, but not me. There are a lot of itty-bitty things to correct on ASR and some really big ones. I get very physically tired reading through so many reports and making corrections on virtually every single line. With so many accounts going to ASR at least in part, I do not know that there are really that many options. If we switch accounts or even companies, ASR is on our heels. I know there are others who will not agree with me and who love ASR, but this is my experience and my perspective.
