About that lawn mowing

I love lawnmowing, brushhogging pastures, building fence, digging in the dirt, etc.  Saves hubby having to hire farm help too.  I'm an outdoorsey person.

As far as I'm concerned any job is honorable so long as it is honest.  Got that from my dad.  I remember with horror his stories about the Great Depression and I fear we're going to experience it for ourselves.  He was a farmer but no one had money to buy what he produced, he bartered a lot.  To get money he would walk 5-10 miles ONE WAY and work as a carpenter for 50 cents a day when he could get work.  The stories he told are probably one reason I  have so much empathy for my SISTERS and BROTHERS.  The smart a$$ who laughed at the sisters and brothers in the post above deserves neither sisters, brothers nor anyone else to care about her/him.  But then I guess she/he wouldn't be needing anyone to care about her/him; all his/her love appears to be used up on her/himself.
