I have to agree with some others on this, being an MT is not hard and I've been doing it for 17 years.   If we were making 30 bucks and hour, this would really be a walk in the park.  The only thing that makes this job hard is the low pay, the actual job is pretty darn easy, especially with the abundance of information on the internet.  Back in the day of looking in books, well that sucked.  Now blast me and tell me I must be a horrible MT, but I will just laugh because that is not the case.  I'm just saying that the work itself is not difficult.   If you have the brains and experience, you really aren't looking a lot of stuff up, you are just typing!   Sorry, but it is true.   Some MTs state they have 30 years experience and won't type an OP report and can't do an EEG.   I guess it all depends on the person and this does come easier to some.   Just my opinion.
