Again, at the risk of offending you.

You must be doing something wrong if you have 10 years of experience and are doing all this applying and testing and still not getting a call-back. I have almost 30 years and I didn't necessarily hear back about everything I applied for but I still did not find it necessary to take anything that low.

And sure you can still make money at 7 cpl. But even to make $100/day you have to type almost 1500 lines. And that's on the assumption that one doctor will dictate that much every day. And by the time you do 1500 lines for that doc, how much are you going to have left to do it again for another one?

Hey -- you may be offending some of us drunks who
     LOL
Never met the offending office worker
Thanks for the reply. I don't know why she would alter my reports unless she is jealous that I work at home and she doesn't. That can be a big reason for lots of people to try to undermine those of us smart enough and trained enough to work from home. I do have any attorney who is interested in taking it on contingency and he mentioned about the HIPAA violation element. Still pondering whether to make a big splash in this small town.
At the risk of being rude, PLEASE can you tell me
your company? Sounds like just what I am looking for. I believe you that they are looking for quality and weeding out the rest, and I SO WANT TO WORK for a company that cares about quality!! I promise I won't bash you, and you can even reply by email! I am sooooooooooooooo trying to find just a decent company = so that I can leave that - other one - forever!
I would say enter at own risk...
They are great at first but run out of work very easily...emails go unanswered..switching from account to account...
At the risk of being called mgmt, I have to say (sm)
that when I started 2 years ago my very first check was direct deposited, but I can't remember how much time they had to do it.  I DO remember I was shocked, because the company I had come from always told us, it took several pays before it went through.  I think it was because they just didn't bother with the paperwork involved.
At the risk of sounding offensive
You must be doing something wrong. Admittedly, every opening posted gets probably 100 applicants, but they are still hiring good people. I hated the job I had, applied/tested/interviewed for one that sounded good, and got that at 9 cpl. I wanted some easy typing, so I applied/tested/interviewed for another one, similar to the one the OP is looking for and got that one for 8.5 cpl.

Of course, now that the company has read that they can find chumps to sit and type it for 7 cpl, my job security may be out the window. Of course, the same people that will screw their fellow American MTs out of work by working for that amount will be the first ones on here crying about how they lost their account because it got sent offshore just to save a few pennies.
At the risk of getting flamed, my advice for any MT - sm
not just Wbmx - is if you don't like VR, you better start training for a new career. I'm not saying it is good or necessarily bad, but I suspect the days of having a choice of whether to use it or not are over.
If you worked, you should get paid. It is a risk on both parts. I would sm

call them and ask why you were not paid.

I have heard lately about companies that do not pay on time, are constantly late, never the right amount, and it amazes me that people continue to work for them.

If you just started with them and left, you still need to be paid for thew work you performed.

personal info is always at risk just by being online

all over the world...the perps are trying to get everyone's personal information....not just that company and their stupid error.....nothing is secure online no matter for the encryption codes or anything - NOTHING is 100% secure online...*hear that? all you people who bank online and pay bills online*???  Just because it hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it is not in the works.

I remember few years ago Western Union got hacked (one of the oldest companies in America) and told all 100,000 customers to *cancel all your credit cards as we do not know what information the perps got on all of you*

Nothing is 100% secure online, not banking, not medical records, not your social security numbers nor your personal records.....even if you see the little lock at the task bar.....means not much to a computer whiz/cracker.

I wonder why people like CindyMT (below) are in this business.  I became disgusted with this thread within 2 reads.  Things are horrible at MQ and many other MTSOs right now so tempers are short, I understand that, but what is needed are some POSITIVE minds working to find a way to improve things, even if it means leaving one company for another to get some peace.  If you are getting thrown under the bus by one, maybe it is time to leave.  MQ has totally thrown their QA under the bus and their MTs before that, which is why I am reading company threads, and this thread definitely gives TT a bad rap if what some say is true and it's not a bad place to work.  Good luck to all in this business...where the smart and strong shall survive and the weak and angry will perish.
