Amphion does not have nights or weekends

People do complain about data entry which they are not paid for but that is for basic 4.
You could ask if they have radiology or clinic which maybe a different setup. They do use Dictaphone Extext.
You don't have to work nights or weekends unless you want to.

That is exactly what I did. I know they hire PT nights and weekends. sm
I started that way and within 3 months moved to FT. They are not perfect for everyone, but I really love my job and hope that you find what works best for you!
work weekends or nights.

Re: working weekends and nights
I already do work Saturdays and nights (or try to, but it's a little hard when there is no work). I do not work on Sundays. It is my only day for my family to be together. I work six days (or nights as the case may be) a week as it is. Saturdays and nights are fine and I am happy to work them, but no work then, either. But there is also no work early mornings, hardly any during the day, almost none at night. It is as if it has all evaporated??????? I remember when all three of my accounts were plentiful and I could work as much as I wanted whenever. I do not mind flexing my schedule, but there is just no work no matter which way I flex it. What happened?
Yes, it's true you do not have to work weekends/nights
They let you choose your own work schedule when you start.  They use Dictaphone with Word.  It takes a bit of patience to get used to what you're supposed to do as far as finding the right visit or if the doctor inputs the wrong work type, etc., but as a program in general, it's simple to use.
Me work days, nights and weekends?
No I have worked so long at this now only work part-time and no more slaving like in years past.
transcend and differentials, weekends, nights, holidays
what  does Transcend pay for these, anyone know?
No nights unless you want them at Amphion
No nights unless you want them at Amphion. We can get you started within a week of your testing!!! Call me regarding the details of Amphion's health insurance, please.

Lucky you at the lake... I'll be typing nights and weekend nights
I am a single mom, have over 25 years' experience and have to take those times... you know this is a 24/7 business and although I have to give up prime life time of leisure at these times, I figure the patient needs me, and so does my boy... so I have time off during the week during the day after I rest to do things... and guess what, I live on a lake near the beach... good luck to you!
Amphion- no weekends?
I'd like to hear from someone who currently works for Amphion . I recently completed testing with them. How is the scheduling done...is it really Monday thru Friday?

What is the cost of single coverage insurance? What company is the medical coverage with? How is the work flow? How long did it take for you to receive equipment after being hired?
Amphion no weekends
What type of accounts do you type? I'm sure for acute care or ER accts you would have to work weekends..just inquiring because Amphion is one company I am seriously checking out at the moment to switch to.  Thanks.
Amphion doesn't make you work weekends
or nights.  They're a great company, and I hear they're hiring.
I made that working for a national...O/T, weekends...no live, now no O/T or weekends(sm)
so no more big bucks, at least from them...looking for second job to make ends meet, don't have husband to help...this sucks.
Not sure, may be willing to for nights and W/E.

weekend nights are actually the

slowest on my accounts.  I try to get 1/2 my lines in before lunch and then check back in the early evening to finish up.  If I wait too late, the work's all gone.  Sometimes I can't get my lines in the morning, either, because the work isn't there.  It's really hit or miss.

For the most part I work around it, but I don't live around it.  If I don't get my lines, I don't get them.  I have a second income that really helps out.  I think it's best not to put all your eggs in 1 basket.  You never know when that basket is going to break.

No work at nights
I used to try to get my lines in the early morning before my kids got up, but there is absolutely no work in the mornings. So now I try to work during the day some, but have to wait till evenings when hubby gets home, and there is NO work at nights. On Sundays, my accounts are very low. Tired of this. In the process of job hunting.

BTW, I seriously doubt it will get better after Labor Day. It will only get worse going into the holidays.
Another person who works nights, hello!
NM
I have One in school but work nights

As it just works out better overall.  No kids, phone calls, et cetera.  Sleep deprived??  Yes, most of the time!!  LOL

I work nights for Heartland. Overnights. sm
I have two kids and going to school full time. I never asked for a 8-5 schedule like most MTs and I don't ask for M-F either. I have to work nights to get shift differential to SURVIVE.

What a rude stance to take. I'm sorry you feel that way. I hope your job is never pulled from under you.
No they don't. There is slight increase for evenings and nights;
xx
Current Amphion employee...I'm very happy. The part of Amphion I work with has no faxes, lists,s
minor demographic work..superb QA and feedback.  Fellow MTs on same account are more than willing to help and now they also have mentor program.  My pay is what they said.  They do have different pay for different levels.
Do you work evenings or nights? If so TT has plenty of work
It is not that TT has no work, it is that everybody wants banker's hours. What do you expect?
Weekends?
And no, I don't work weekends, only if I want to get on the OT or the incentives.
Weekends
You work in the medical field, which is a 365-day-a-year business. Why would you expect that you would not have to work on weekends? The hospitals that provide the work that provides us a paycheck expect their charts back in the contracted time. If you aren't willing to help provide that service, then either get out of the field or find your own physicians to contract with so that you can set your own hours.

Weekends
I worked weekends for the Harpy MTSO and OT whenever it was needed. Did she appreciate it? No. I happen to like working weekends! An oddity, I know, but I AM a professional.
DSG used to have no weekends. Don't know about now. nm

Weekends
Almost every company out there now requires a weekend day....and GIMT is soooo flexible..you are not HELD to certain hours. Get them in when you can that day and everyone is happy.
Weekends at TT
I have just recently started at TT and was told I had the choice of Sun-Thur or Tue-Sat; when asking for M-F, they laughed. Also, their ads say Tue-Sat and Sun-Thur. What gives?
Weekends
Except if my memory is correct you did not have to commit to a set schedule for the weekend as long as you covered your 20% line commitment.

no weekends
No way do I want to work weekends.  Is it really required or are they flexible?
weekends
I only did M-F. I know someone else who just started with them and will only do M-F.
weekends
when I worked there you either did Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs. Or if you wanted Monday-Friday, you did every fourth weekend. Only fair in this business.
weekends
It used to be people were hired with a 2 weekend days a month requirement. Now they are hiring on Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs schedules (as are most companies). It sounds like the info packet hasn't reflected that change. Probably best to clarify your future schedule with the recruiter or your supervisor.
Weekends......
Check with FutureNet.  I work weekend option there, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and have more work that I know what to do with.  They are always needing extra help on weekends.  Pay is good too and people are super-nice.
To Weekends Off
Thank you for that positive feedback. If you would be willing to share the names of these companies I would appreciate it and you could contact me by e-mail.
To No Weekends Here
If you would you be willing to share the name please e-mail me. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
weekends
If you don't want to work weekends, shouldn't have picked the medical field. Maybe you should try a doctor's office, though most of them these days are open on Saturday.

I love working 1 weekend day and having 1 day off during the week to myself. That's my sanity day.

There are plenty of ways to work a weekend day and still have time for family. It might take some creativity on your part but it can be done.
OPs, weekends, as an IC... 7 cpl.

That's equivalent to roughly 4-5 cpl as an employee with benes.  It takes years to become a good MT.  I can't believe the low pay rates posted lately.

Weekends

The account I'm on, because it is a clinic account, tends to be done for the week usually by Saturday night.  Occasionally there will be a backlog and work available on Sunday, but that's rare.

I don't know about the acute care accounts.  I would assume that they would need people on the weekends- that type of account usually does.  They started me at .0875 cpl which is just fine for my needs and expectations.

I don't know about the not getting a response.  I got a response from them right away last year when I applied, so I'm not sure what that's about.

TT weekends
I work 4 hr/day Sun-Thur by choice. Some work Tue-Sat and others rotate weekend days.
The weekends
We have always had busier days on Thursday and Friday but this is waaaaay busier. Of course, people could be on vacations, etc. as well. It is summer. It just seems funny that there is NO work for three days and then a ton of it.
Weekends?

Just curious...what is the typical weekend requirement for Transcend?  Also, how strict is your scheduling?  Those really are my main concerns at this time.

Weekends
It does help somewhat, but I'm really just wondering if they do require 1 weekend day per week.  I don't mind working every other, but absolutely cannot do 1 weekend day per week.  I guess I'll have to wait until the first of the year.  Thanks for answering though!
Weekends...
Thank you.  That's what I needed to know.  We do a lot of camping on the weekends, or we did anyways, usually every other weekend.  So, there is no way this is going to work for me.  Like I said, I have no problem with working every other weekend, but if I have to work one weekend day per week, I'm either going to have to sell our camp or find another job.  This is depressing.
more $ for night and weekends
0.005 per line from 6 pm to 11 pm. from 11 pm to 6 am 0.01 per line. How the heck can we keep track of this stuff? More time will be spent calculating the time sheet than earning it!!
Yep, I can see for me that weekends and OT will go by the wayside. nm
nm
weekends and stuff
Actually, when you get your little chart to fill in (24 hours, 7 days) it clearly has marked the hours where there is a shift differential. You could choose to work ONLY during those hours if you want. There will still be incentives and bonuses. The bottom line is, the jobs will still need transcribed and SOMEONE has to do it.

Some may want to work weekends. A lot don't.
for that rate of compensation.  There was a time 10 cpl was average to below-average rate working Monday through Friday.  Then it started changing to working at least one weekend day to make that kind of rate.  Now it's the whole weekend, EVERY weekend on nothing but ESLs just to make that kind of rate.  I'm not the OP, but I think that might be part of the complaint when s/he says it's a bit rigorous and might be time to leave.
I believe they do have rotating weekends available. sm
It would be worth contacting them to find out for sure.
I do ER and don't work weekends. nm

I do ER and only work weekends (PT)
:)
Weekends should be optional
Not to close hospitals, smarmy pants, but to demand weekends is counterproductive. Weekend work should be optional and pay more. Duh.
