Jobs are scarce. Some people have to take what they can get, regardless of what they do or don't know about a certain company.

Because people give conflicting and differing opinions about certain companies and you may never really know until you take the job for that specific company.

It seems that the poster is trying to find out about the company by inquiring. An interview is not an obligation.
