The same thing happened to me.  I did not remember applying for a job with them. They told me the pay was 6 cents per line.  Thought that was pretty low.  I don't know anything about this company however

Hey, has anyone heard of a MT company called DenMed? They are advertising for inhome MTs and I wanted some info on them.  Thanks so much!!  You can email me also at tazjeep87@yahoo.com

From what I could find out, which was very little, they are based out of Oregon. They are advertising for in-home transcriptionists where I live in Arizona.  Thanks for responding!!!

Any info on this company out of Oregon?  Can't find anything on the board.

Any pros or cons on this company?

I agree with kitkat although I worked for them for 2+ years because I was in Northern Oregon with only dial-up access. Pay was very low, 6.5 to 7 cents - once a month and I felt the MTs were talked down to by office - it was a sweatshop...staff...push..push..push...Plus their line was based on an 85 not 65 character line.
Also repeatedly being told that they pay better than other services...I went to a service that pays me 10 and 10.5 cents per line and am very happy.

DENMED is a Salem, Oregon MT business that in my biased opinion is GREAT.  Not only do they treat their staff honestly and fairly (yes I did work for them) but they also treat their clientele with the utmost respect.  They handle both large and small accounts.  From Hospitals to Single Doctors.  The transcription is either done in WP 5.1 or MS word.  Hope this helps.  I have included a link to their website.

Anyone ever heard of DenMed???

Hey Ladies,

Has anyone ever heard of this company??  I got a call from them that said they had my resume and I can not remember ever sending them one...  I mean, I could have sent them one and not remember, as I have been sending out A LOT of them lately...  Anyway, they want to hire me and I was just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with them, good or bad...

TIA,

GaMT

Anyone with information on this company?

Looking for information on QED. sm
I have never heard of them before.  I read some old archives but am interested in hearing from any recent employees.  I've heard the pay is low.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
Information
Does anyone know anything about a company called Archivus?
SM for information.
An expander is a program in which you put in shortcuts to "expand" to longer words, sentences, and phrases. For example, typing "forex" produces "for example." They can be used for phrases like
tp for the patient
lt for left
rt for right
egdx for esophagogastroduodenoscopy

Shorthand and Instant Text are 2 of the most popular.

Check out productivitytalk.com!
Does anyone have any information
TIA
Thank you for the information!
That is helpful.
Thanks for the information.

You were very kind to respond.

No, but if this were information
that was really any of your business, you wouldn't have to ask.

Does anyone have any information
I have asked a few times and can find nothing when I do a search on them? TIA
A little information for you

I am not the original person who answered your post, but I also work for Amphion.  When you are first hired with them, they will basically ask you what hours you plan on working.  They are hours of your choosing, but they just ask that you try to stay working that schedule, so that they can provide adequate coverage on their accounts.  They are, however, very accommodating should you need to change your schedule.  They hire both part-time and full-time employee status.  Very nice folks to work for!  Good luck to you.

Sorry, don't have information but would like to know
Thanks.
I like to come here for information..., sm

but by the time you wade through all the hateful remarks, it just makes you sick!  I am very glad for the time spent on getting rid of some of the junk around here.

Information
Can you email me with more information?  Where are you located?  How many MTs work for you currently?  Thanks!
I'd appreciate any information on any of these, too
--but I can say I did consider FastChart a few years ago; my decision was between them and my current employer, for whom I work as an employee and not as an IC, as I would have with FastChart.

What killed my consideration of FastChart was the poor line rate; I believe it was 0.065/line at the time, and that, coupled with IC status and filing my own taxes, etc., just didn't beat EDiX's offer of 0.07/line plus benefits.

I'm most curious about Oracle and Proscript and appreciate the PS feedback already provided. At this point, I'll take any advice anyone offers, though. I just don't think the future at my present company is looking so bright.

Thanks, all.
There is quite a bit of information in the
archives on Spheris. I worked there and have posted much about them (positive experience). I even posted a lengthy comparison between Spheris and MedQuist.

If you will do a search, you will find plenty of information.

Thanks for the information!

Information (SM)
If you are referring to the parent company of MedQuist, you need to take this discussion to the MQ board.

ALL discussions about MQ are to be on that particular board.

I am letting your post stand for now to see if you will clarify if there is a private MTSO called Phillips MT that you are inquiring about.

Thanks for the information. sm
Everything that I heard about them was good, until I took the job offer, of course!
My information to do with what I want. sm
I agree it is crass to ask someone what they make.  I do not agree that someone has the right to tell my personal information cannot be shared with whomever I chose to share it with.
Thanks for the information. - sm
I guess this should have been titled autotext or word Expander question! They (Futurenet) told me they have a Word Expander program, but I'm guessing they meant the autotext feature in MS Word.

such as PT/FT, TAT, type of schedule, minimum lines, weekend requirement, pools or own accounts, etc.  Thanks!
More information

3 p - 11p + $2/h

11p - 7 a + $3/h

This is in addition to your line rate.

Where do you get your information?
Please let me know where you heard this because I have worked for Precyse for quite awhile, continue to have the same accounts (probably because they have a lot of ESLs and nobody else wants them).  I do know they have some accounts and MTs testing it out, but are quick to tell us that with the problems all the other companies are having, they are quite hesitant about how efficient and productive it would be.
More information please!

I recently had a phone interview with this company, and was very happy with the interview.  Currently I am waiting for a confirmation on the job offer.  Anybody with some information, good or bad, I would be very happy to hear anything.  At this point I feel like I am getting the run around, like they are too busy to get back to me.
