the chances of the company being bought by another, changing management, changing platform, moving to VR is so high you really cannot count on staying at a company for more than a year or two anymore.
I am with the same company for 3 years now, but I see changes as far as more VR happening, which is sending me out to beat the streets again.
I laugh when people say they have found the place they are going to retire with. Unless their retirement is within the next 2 years, you really can't say that. If you got a list of all the transcription companies from even 5 years ago and one from today, you'd be amazed at how many on the 5-year-ago list can be crossed off due to leaving the business or being bought by a bigger company.
